Joseph Crone

Joseph comes to Gibson Perryman law firm after more than ten years in private law practice in Tennessee, Mississippi and Montana. Joseph grew up in Shelby County, Tennessee as a 7th generation Memphian, and attended Briarcrest Christian High School. Immediately after high school, Joseph was recruited to play football at the University of North Alabama in Florence, Alabama, and attended that school for two years. Joseph graduated from Rhodes College in Memphis, majoring in History. After college, Joseph attended Mississippi College School of Law in Jackson, Mississippi, graduating in 2013.
After passing the bar exams in Tennessee and Mississippi, Joseph focused his practice in the areas of criminal defense, personal injury, and domestic litigation. During the Covid-19 pandemic, Joseph moved to Bozeman, Montana, became licensed to practice law in Montana, and opened a law practice in Montana. In 2022, Joseph moved back to Tennessee, and has been practicing in the greater West Tennessee, North Mississippi, and Eastern Montana areas.
Joseph has litigated hundreds of criminal defense matters within the State of Montana from Plentywood, Montana in the east to Plains, Montana in the West and all places in between.
Since joining Gibson Perryman, Joseph has expanded his practice to include federal practice litigation and assists in the firm’s employment litigation endeavors. Joseph is married to Adriana, and they have one child together, Lucas. In his free time, Joseph enjoys being at home with his family, dogs, birds, and cat. Joseph also is an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hiking, camping, and traveling with his family. Lastly, Joseph enjoys music, and appreciates music of all types ranging from the Grateful Dead to local Memphis artists.
